New Ways To Style Your Wedding Jewelry

Buying your wedding gown is like buying a new house. It can feel like you, but your wedding jewelry are like the lamps, couches and rugs; the final personal touch. There is a common misconception that you cannot wear your wedding jewelry again. That is where I want to clear the air! Wedding jewelry designer, Maria Elena, creates all her custom jewelry with rhodium and Swarovski making her pieces heirloom. Maria Elena wants you to wear the pieces again! While interning with Maria Elena and her team at Bridal Market in New York, I had the opportunity and pleasure of meeting the Westchester Wedding Planner Blogger and photographer, Nicole Taylor.

In the Maria Elena showroom, in I was able to introduce the latest collection and share my knowledge on the line with them.  We chatted a bit about how truly gorgeous the pieces are, how the pieces can be custom and how you should re wear them!

Below are two photos Nicole Taylor took of me showing off the latest collection and how to wear the jewels with everyday clothes. If you’re super glam, you should def rock the crown to your local grocery store 😉

Ideas for styling your everyday clothes with your wedding jewelry

green dress to match wedding jewelry    black outfit for maria elena wedding jewelryFor date night, an event, or drinks with the ladies, I paired gold Maria Elena earrings and a bracelet with a green wrap dress and a classic nude strap shoe. The wrap dress is classy and sexy, so the crystals really compliment this look.

When going straight from work to an event, show, dinner, or fancy meeting pair your Maria Elena headband and make it into a necklace! The pieces have either ribbon or metal claps so the headband is truly interchangeable. one of my clients, Sarah, is a newly wed who wore her headband as a necklace. I paired the jewelry with a black and chic look. The silver plating and swarovskis will really pop on the dark color.
