Interview with a Solutions Bridal Senior Stylist

jessica solutions bridal senior stylistSolutions Bridal Senior Bridal Stylist, Jessica, is not only my coworker but also a close friend of mine. Jessica is one of the hardest working people I know. She is so passionate about what she does. What I admire most about Jessica is she truly cares about her clients and will give them her honest opinion while giving the ideal and luxury customer service experience. She would never just sell any gown to any bride to make numbers.
Jess, or J Lo, as we call her, has been with the Solutions Bridal team for a little over a year. Jess being a a Senior Stylist, is a bridal connoisseur. Jess can look at a bride and pick her dress in a matter of minutes. As soon as her bride walks in the front door of the salon, she’ll say (side note:  she calls me Barbie) “Hey Barbie, her dress is going to be ____” 9 out of 10 times, the dress she tells me, ends up being the brides gown.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Jess myself for the blog. All brides deserve to work with Jessica to find their dream gown. To read Jessica’s reviews click here

So I know you are amazing at what you do, but how long exactly have you been in the industry?
10 years
How did you get into the industry?
I have always loved dresses and pretty gowns. At a young age, I remember being little and looking at gowns and loving them. I also used to make dresses out of my mothers old curtains and bed sheets.
10 years ago,  I met the owner of Bridal Reflections, Christina Demarco, she recruited me to work for her store as a bridal stylist. Before working in bridal,  I worked for for Bally Total fitness as a sales manager. And girl, when I worked for them, I was looking gooood.
What is the best part about what you do?
Finding the perfect gown for the right bride and capturing the emotional moment for the bride. I love hearing “This would not of been possible without you.” It honestly feeds my ego and is so rewarding.
I truly love what I do. Not many people can say they love their job.
What is your favorite bridal style?
I love the classic look. Designers, Suzanne Neville and Ulla Maijia are my favorite. Those designers have integrity, amazing quality, their gowns are also extremely elegant.
Of all the gowns in the salon by different designers, which gown really speaks to you and draws you in?
Fontanne by Ines Di Santo. That gown is incredible.  Not gonna lie, I love the ball gown, glam, and gaudy look.
You work extremely hard making sure you keep all your current clients and future clients happy. What motivates you to keep going?
My kid, my mom, and success.
